Mino ware has a history of over 1,300 yearsMino ware, which flourished mainly in Mizunami City, Gifu Prefecture, is a famous type of ceramics in Japan with a history of over 1,300 years. While closely related to people's daily lives as tableware, it established its own unique beauty along with the rise of tea ceremony culture. Nurtured by the rich clay and pure water of Mizunami City, and the delicate sensibilities of its artisans, Mino ware has changed in appearance over the years, but its traditions have been passed down uninterrupted.
